Job Overview
Fixed term / secondment for 12 months due to maternity cover, ending June 2027. Only staff currently employed by Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board may apply. Candidates must obtain permission from their current line manager before applying.
Responsibilities
- Day‑to‑day management of all Physiotherapy teams in Llandudno and Colwyn Bay Community Hospitals and the Conwy Community Physiotherapy Team.
- Supervise staff, conduct performance and sickness‑absence management, staff appraisal, risk management and resolve operational issues.
- Provide clinical leadership and maintain a clinical caseload, performing advanced assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning as an autonomous practitioner.
- Travel to other hospital sites to provide operational support.
- Collaborate with other team leaders and the management team to improve and develop Physiotherapy services across the Central Area.
