Packaged Living is a leading investor, developer and operator of rental living communities across the UK, with a current development pipeline of over 5,000 homes with a GDV in excess of £1bn.
We are seeking to employ a talented Asset Manager to join the Operational team.This role would suit an ambitious individual with three years or more experience within a real estate operational environment.
Background
Packaged Living is active across the UK Living sector including:
- Multifamily Housing (“MFH”) – developing >3,000 homes across city centre locations exceeding GDV £690m. Developments are locations include Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield, Milton Keynes, Cardiff, Bournemouth, Basingstoke & Reading.
- Single Family Housing (“SFH”) – delivering communities of suburban housing which are operated for long term income and capital growth. The portfolio totals over 1,500 homes with GDV in excess of £500m. Locations include Kent, Essex, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Shropshire and Suffolk.
- Co-Living (“Co-Liv”) – Developing Co-Living communities in London (zones 2-6) of between 100 – 200 studio apartments with great on-site amenity spaces.
Packaged Living communities are sustainably designed for the long term use and enjoyment of its residents. Customer experience and management efficiencies are core to the Packaged Living rental experience.
Scope of Role
- Support Operations Director on the successful execution of business plans incl. ensuring all operational, financial and reporting objectives are met
- Assist Operations Director with all equity investor and lender reporting
- Supporting the development team during construction incl. snagging and phased handover of units
- Advise investment team as to suitability of target assets incl. interrogation of operational assumptions
- Overseeing mobilisation and onboarding
- Develop leasing and marketing strategies (incl. rent setting and resident acquisition)
- Assist Operations Director in developing our asset/property management capability across all areas of the business.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 3 years working experience in areas of property / asset management
- Experience of the ‘living’ sector (or other operationally geared industry) with delivery focus
- Experience of working within an Operations/Asset Management function
- Self-motivated with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient using Excel and PowerPoint presentations skills
- Strong attention to detail and passion for first rate customer / consumer service
- Ability to compile reports and present information in an accurate, logical format
- Team player with ability to work independently and unmonitored
