This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well‑established team delivering high‑quality Electrical and Electronic Engineering education with a particular focus on electrical power systems.
The college has invested heavily in modern, industry‑standard facilities and is seeking a qualified lecturer with previous teaching experience within Electrical Engineering or a related discipline to strengthen their delivery team.
The Role
- Deliver Electrical / Electronic Engineering curriculum with a focus on electrical power.
- Teach both practical workshop sessions and classroom‑based theory.
- Support and assess learners across college and apprenticeship programmes.
- Contribute to curriculum development and learner progress tracking.
- 37‑hour working week, Monday to Friday.
The Person
- Previous teaching or lecturing experience within Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong background in Electrical Engineering (Power systems desirable).
- Relevant teaching qualification (or willingness to hold/maintain one where applicable).
- Confident delivering both practical and theoretical content in an FE environment.
- Passionate about developing the next generation of engineers.
