Service Engineer – Lely Center Yeovil

We’re looking for a Service Engineer to support the maintenance and servicing of our Lely Astronaut automated milking systems. This is a hands‑on engineering role ideal for someone with strong technical skills, a passion for problem‑solving, and a desire to support farmers with the latest advancements in on‑farm technology.
You will cover the South of our region, spanning from Somerset, Dorset and parts of Wiltshire.
Qualifications
- Previous experience and/or a relevant qualification in service, mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Experience working on an on‑call rota with overtime.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Willingness to undertake extensive travel within the assigned area at times.
- Computer literacy.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to analyse situations and identify problems.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Participation in continual training to develop and improve skills.
- Self‑motivation, well‑organised and able to work and communicate effectively within a team as well as individually.

Location: Field‑based with travel across the Lely Center Region.
Job Types: Full‑time, Permanent.
Pay: £32,830.00–£37,112.00 per year.
