The Work
Some frontend engineering jobs are about dashboards and admin panels.
This one isn’t.
You’ll be building applications used to operate and monitor live trading infrastructure across multiple financial markets. The systems process large volumes of data and need to remain clear, reliable and responsive at all times.
You’ll work closely with product engineers, infrastructure specialists and QA to build the interfaces used to control complex trading technology. That means turning large streams of market data into tools traders and operators can actually use.
You’ll also get the space to shape how things are built.
You’ll contribute to architecture decisions, guide more junior engineers and work with designers to turn wireframes into applications that feel fast and intuitive even when handling large volumes of information.
The engineering group you’ll join is small enough that your ideas will be heard, but experienced enough that you’ll always have strong people around you to challenge and support your thinking.
And the problems you’ll work on aren’t theoretical.
Your code will sit directly alongside real market infrastructure used by trading firms across Europe.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll spend your time:
Building responsive frontend applications in JavaScript / TypeScript with React
Turning complex market and operational data into clear user interfaces
Working with Python APIs and backend services
Collaborating with UX designers to bring wireframes into production systems
Reviewing code and guiding engineers earlier in their careers
Improving testing, reliability and engineering standards across the platform
What you’ll need
To do this well, you’ll likely bring:
Strong JavaScript / TypeScript experience with React
Around 5+ years building frontend applications
Experience working on data-heavy applications
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS and modern web fundamentals
Experience with testing, CI/CD and version control
It helps if you’ve worked in financial markets or trading systems before, but it isn’t essential.
If you understand how to build reliable applications that handle complex data, you’ll be able to learn the domain.
