Warehouse Manager

Salary from £35k per annum DOE
Responsibilities
- Oversee and provide hands‑on help across all sections of the warehouse to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfilment.
- Oversee the warehouse cleanliness to maintain strict health & safety and organisational standards.
- Ensure all warehouse operations are completed accurately and on time.
- Monitor works orders and production schedules to ensure priorities are met.
- Identify and resolve operational issues, including stock discrepancies and delays.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline processes.
- Monitor Microsoft Teams regularly and respond to incoming messages and requests.
- Serve at the Trade Counter when required.
- Assist with anything else requested by senior management.
- Manage freight contracts and evaluate third‑party couriers regularly to guarantee service efficacy, transit speed, and cost‑efficiency.
- Lead weekly production meetings to update staff with company updates and task allocations.
- Monitor key performance indicators and take action to improve performance.
- Monitor employee breaks to ensure compliance with company policies and operations.
- Action and officially record disciplinary procedures in line with company policy and HR guidelines.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar leadership role, together with experience of managing external vendor relationships (e.g., couriers, waste management companies). Demonstrable experience handling employee relations, including one‑to‑ones and disciplinary actions.
Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5 pm
