Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and committed Team Leader for the Forensics team. The role requires working efficiently and independently while contributing to team success, managing a dynamic set of projects and tasks.

The tasks you will undertake include:

• To lead and manage a team of forensic staff to ensure analytical work, reporting and laboratory processes are delivered to the required quality standards, specifications and turnaround times
• Coordinate team workload, monitoring performance against departmental targets, and ensuring staff are trained, competent and operating in compliance with laboratory quality systems, including ISO17025 and Forensic Regulator requirements
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members, act as an escalation point for technical queries, and ensure that operational efficiency, quality standards and service level agreements are consistently achieved

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to motivate and develop staff within a busy production environment
• Ability to balance operational delivery with quality and compliance requirements
• Self-motivated with a proactive and positive attitude
