Up to £70,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Full Time Role with 1 in 6 Weekends

Are you a confident vet looking to progress? Looking for a hospital role, without the hospital stress? We are supporting a fantastic veterinary hospital in South Wales as they look to expand their team and recruit an additional veterinary surgeon.

Compensation:

We’re proud to offer competitive rates for our vets, are happy to discuss remuneration in more depth, and we would look to offer up to circa £70,000. Alongside:

  • Loyalty Bonus paid on Christmas
  • Certificate support actively encouraged and financed
  • Paid lunch breaks
  • UK sponsorship and relocation package available
  • Free on-site parking
  • Discounted treatment for staff pets
  • Profit sharing bonus
  • A friendly, close-knit team who truly support one another.

The Practice:

Being based near Cardiff, just off the M4, we have excellent connections across Cardiff, Newport, Bridgend, and all towns up towards Merthyr Tydfil. At present, we have just under 2 dozen in the team and have a growing list of clients approaching ourselves so need a few extra hands‑on deck! This is a 24 hour practice with a dedicated nights team.

On site we have separate, spacious wards for cats and dogs to give inpatients the best quality of care possible. Across the hospital, you will see our consulting rooms and operating theatres, extensive diagnostics equipment including X‑ray, Ultrasound and Dental X‑Ray as well as a very large in‑house lab. We have also got our eyes on some of the properties on our doorstop to really grow in scale.

Services are tailored for both first opinion, general practice enquiries and more complex referrals. Orthopaedics, complex dental work, dermatology and diagnostics are often referred into us to work up.

You:

  • A Veterinary Surgeon with a live MRCVS registration?
  • Kind, and enthusiastic personality?
  • A passion for animal welfare and commitment to developing your own skills?

Interviews will be 2 stages: first on teams / phone call, followed by a visit to the practice.
