Deputy General Manager – Imaging
We have a great opportunity at UHDB for an experienced leader to join our team in Imaging as a Deputy General Manager. The post holder will support and deputise for the General Manager in day‑to‑day operational and performance management of the Imaging business unit, and contribute to the strategic direction, financial forecast and service development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in achieving outcomes of the Trust’s performance management framework and accountability for key performance measures.
- Assist with the management and performance of the business unit, including staff and equipment, to provide multi‑modality imaging services at acute, community and diagnostic sites.
- Manage and implement projects to modernise services.
- Ensure effective communication systems across the portfolio and with other relevant service areas.
- Develop and implement local delivery plans aligned with the annual planning process and corporate objectives.
- Support the strategic direction of the business unit.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have proven leadership experience in a health‑care imaging or related setting, with a strong track record of operations, performance management and service development.
