Are you ready to get in on the ground floor of Amazon’s long-term initiative to design, launch and maintain a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites to provide low‑latency, high‑speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world? It’s Day 1 for Amazon’s next billion dollar business and we are looking for an analytically‑minded Financial Analyst to work in a start‑up environment who is passionate about technology, who thinks/acts globally, who thrives in ambiguous and fast‑paced environments, and who has the ability to develop solutions to business questions.

Key job responsibilities

  • Support direct and indirect enterprise deal negotiations across international markets by developing comprehensive P&L models with scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, pricing analysis including breakeven calculations and NPV neutrality assessments
  • Perform partner financial health due diligence and support FX/currency strategy consultation for complex deals, assessing deal viability across regulatory, tax, and accounting considerations in international jurisdictions
  • Build and maintain reusable deal model frameworks and standardized templates to ensure consistency across geographies
  • Design and maintain financial models to project and evaluate business performance against key goals and metrics
  • Actively leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, automate repeatable analysis, and improve model accuracy
  • Support OP1, OP2, QBR, and Long Range Planning processes for International Leo B2B and B2C operations

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field
  • Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses
  • Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA, or CPA
  • Experience participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results
  • Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
