Engineering Team Leader

Stonehouse – Monday to Friday. Salary £50,000 – £58,000.

10% bonus scheme, 4× life assurance, health cash plan, pension matched up to 8%.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Hands‑on shop floor leadership and escalation point.
• Leading and developing engineers; mentoring apprentices.
• Resource planning and plant cover.
• CMMS analysis, planned maintenance, PMS.
• RCA, 5 Why, FMECA, RCM.
• Contractor and supplier management.
• Maintenance Excellence roadmap & 5S.
• OEM liaison and standardisation.

What We’re Looking For

• Completed engineering apprenticeship.
• Strong hands‑on engineering background in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading people and/or contractors – essential (Team Leader, Shift Lead, or Supervisor).
• Comfortable in a shop‑floor‑based leadership role and managing day‑to‑day engineering priorities.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
