We are looking for someone who wants chaos.
This is a 12-month FTC with a clear temp to perm opportunity, but we need someone who can come in and make an impact straight away. No bedding in period.
This is building out a brand new team and function from scratch. It will give someone an amazing journey and a lot of exposure very quickly.
That said, this is not a role where you can ease yourself in.
We need someone proactive, comfortable operating at pace and happy to just get stuck in.
You’ll need to hit the ground running, pick things up quickly and start adding value from day one.
This is one of those rare roles where you are not buried in spreadsheets producing reports nobody reads.
You are the person helping shape decisions.
We’re working with a PE-backed consumer retail business, sub £200m turnover, scaling quickly and building a best-in-class commercial finance function.
The team is small, high calibre, and genuinely influential. This means visibility, ownership, and the chance to make a real impact.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Business partnering key business units, building KPIs and dashboards
- Owning financial models to support strategic decisions
- Partnering with retail, marketing, and operations teams
- Analysing performance across divisions, channels, and products
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
- Evaluating business cases, investments, and growth initiatives
- Turning data into clear, useful insight that drives action
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Accountant, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
- Someone who is ready to go from day one
- Strong analytical and modelling skills
- Commercial mindset, curious, proactive, and confident
- Someone who wants to build, improve, and grow, not just maintain
