Product Engineer (Windows) – Granola

Location: London

We are looking for a Product Engineer who loves Windows and building products in a fast‑paced, iterative environment.

In This Role, You Will

• Own the development of new user‑facing features end‑to‑end, ensuring they work brilliantly on Windows.
• Own the Granola experience on Windows, addressing every little detail that is part of the everyday workflow.
• Optimise the application for speed, scale, and reliability on Windows.
• Work across the stack, from our React/TypeScript UI to native OS integrations where needed.
• Interact with users to understand their problems and design solutions.
• Collaborate with a cross‑functional team of engineers, product managers, designers, and other members of the team to make our Windows app as good as, or better than, our macOS app.

Your Background Looks Something Like

• Engineering experience at tech‑ and product‑driven companies.
• Use Windows as your main operating system for several years.
• Proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Experience building and maintaining desktop apps on Windows (Electron experience is a big plus).
• Comfortable navigating Windows‑specific APIs and tooling when needed, even if you are not a low‑level specialist.

About the Opportunity

Our compensation philosophy is to pay slightly above market on salary and above market on equity. We do our best work in person, so our team spends time together five days per week in our new, bright, and spacious office at Old Street. We are happy to offer relocation assistance to candidates who will be moving to London to join us.
