You must have experience leading teams selling into BOTH the NHS and private healthcare groups. Individual contributors will not be considered.**

The Opportunity

We are supporting a leading service-based healthcare organisation delivering complex, long-term solutions across both the NHS and private healthcare sector.

This is a senior leadership role, responsible for leading a team of 6 Strategic Account Managers, owning the performance, retention and growth of a portfolio of high-value, long-term contracts.

This is about protecting, growing and renewing key strategic accounts at scale.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading and developing a team of 6 Strategic Account Managers, driving performance and accountability
  • Owning the retention, growth and renewal strategy across a portfolio of complex healthcare contracts
  • Embedding a structured, consistent approach to account management, including planning, governance and performance tracking
  • Driving early-stage renewal planning, ensuring contracts are secured well ahead of procurement cycles
  • Building and maintaining senior-level relationships across NHS Trusts, ICBs and private healthcare groups
  • Working cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance and Operations to ensure delivery and commercial success
  • Strengthening the organisation’s position as a strategic partner, not just a supplier

    What We’re Looking For

    • Proven experience managing and leading a team (essential)
    • Experience managing individuals who sell into:
    • NHS (Trusts, ICBs, procurement pathways)
    • Private healthcare groups

    Strong background in:

    • Strategic Account Management
    • Contract retention & renewals
    • Complex, long-term service or solution-based sales
    • Ability to operate at senior stakeholder / Board level
    • Strong commercial acumen, able to understand contracts, value and long-term revenue drivers
    • Experience working in multi-stakeholder, cross-functional environments
