The Role
- Lead and develop the Geography department across KS3-KS5
- Design and deliver a rigorous, knowledge-rich Geography curriculum
- Line-manage and support Geography teaching staff
- Monitor pupil progress and implement strategies to sustain outstanding outcomes
The Ideal Candidate
Essential Criteria
- PGCE Secondary Geography with QTS
- Strong subject knowledge across both Physical and Human Geography
- Proven track record of outstanding classroom practice
Leadership Profile
- Either a current Head of Geography seeking a new challenge, or
- An ambitious Geography teacher ready to step into their first Head of Department role within a high-performing school
