About the role

Our team provides a full range of pest control services to residential and commercial property owners. We aim to complete all aspects of a job from investigation to proofing, in a humane and environmentally conscious way. As an Aspect engineer, you will source your own parts and materials, carry out pest removal and pest proofing, and quote for any further reinstatement work required.

Key responsibilities

  • Source parts and materials for each assignment.
  • Carry out pest removal, treatment, and proofing.
  • Provide advice and consultation on pest proofing.
  • Communicate clearly with customers, explaining work and quoting for remedial jobs.
  • Use bespoke software to manage jobs independently.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to repair pest‑related damage (e.g., live wires, drain pipes, heating pipes, roofing).
  • Respond to bookings in your area, travel within the M25, and be on call for evening and weekend coverage.
  • Work under the guidance of office‑based and field‑based managers.

Qualifications and experience

  • BPCA/RSPH Level 2 Certificate in Pest Management.
  • Minimum 5 years of pest‑control experience, including 1 year of heat treatment and mouse proofing.
  • Strong technical knowledge of a wide range of relevant parts and materials.
  • Experience working in both domestic and commercial properties.
  • Self‑employed contractor status.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to provide detailed scope of work and fixed‑price quotes.
  • Ability to recommend best‑practice remedial work and deliver high‑quality service.

Requirements

Must possess own hand tools; specialist equipment will be supplied. Holds a valid UK driving licence and is available for at least 40 hours per week.
