Role Outline

As our team of dedicated clinicians continues to grow throughout 2026, we are hiring for passionate and patient‑centred Clinical and Counselling Psychologists to join our Psych Health service. We offer a flexible approach to employment. This remote position is available Monday to Friday on a part‑time or full‑time basis, ranging from a minimum of 2 days/15 hours per week to a maximum of 5 days/37.5 hours per week. Working hours must include a Tuesday or a Thursday to attend weekly team meetings. Applicants must be able to legally work and reside in the UK and will be required to work during UK working hours.

What You’ll Be Doing

This fast‑paced clinical role provides variety in your caseload and treats you as a valued member of the team. You will deliver one‑to‑one psychological triage, assessment and brief, goal‑oriented treatment to adult patients using evidence‑based therapies. You will also receive fortnightly individual clinical supervision and attend weekly team meetings that rotate between CPD sessions, training, peer supervision and self‑care practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop specialist capabilities in workplace‑focused psychological therapy, and create and facilitate related training programmes.
  • Conduct specialist assessments for clients (fitness for work, vulnerable role assessments, neurodiversity assessments and cognitive assessments).
  • Design and deliver mental health workshops for key clients.
  • Create a personalised annual development plan to realise long‑term professional ambitions.

What We Are Looking For

  • A HCPC‑registered Clinical / Counselling Psychologist with relevant clinical experience, preferably in Primary Care or occupational health settings.
  • Background in delivering evidence‑based psychological therapies and brief, solution‑focused interventions remotely via video call.
  • Experience working with a diverse adult demographic (and experience with children, young people and families is desirable).
  • Candidates with experience of delivering neurodiversity assessments will be highly desirable.
  • Commitment to personal growth, skill acquisition and active contribution to service development.
  • Experience designing and delivering mental‑health related training sessions or workshops.
  • Team‑oriented and enthusiastic about improving workplace health.

Education & Qualifications

Doctorate / PhD in Clinical Psychology or Counselling Psychology. Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.

Salary

£53,000 – £60,000 FTE (pro‑rated to days worked), dependent on experience and qualifications.
