Job Description:

AWS is seeking a Sales Operations Lead, to support data-driven decision-making and operational excellence for the WWSO organization, focused on Core Services, Advanced Compute and EAMM pillars. Working closely with EMEA WWSO leadership, the Sales Operations professional contributes to sales processes, systems, and metrics that help GTM and SSA increase revenue growth and customer acquisition. This role focuses on executing and supporting mission‑critical frameworks, including territories and quota, goal setting, business reviews, forecasting, and data analysis in a rapidly growing, complex environment. The Sales Operations professional analyzes sales performance data to identify trends and support process improvements, partnering with stakeholders to maintain operational excellence through sales process execution, performance analysis, technology support, and clear communication of insights. As the AI‑powered sales landscape evolves, this role will support the implementation and optimization of AI‑driven tools and workflows that enhance sales productivity.

Key job responsibilities

  • Supports implementation of standardized sales processes and metrics, including KPI definitions and goal cascades, to support operational effectiveness. This may include determining sales territories and quotas for sales teams.
  • Maintains and supports pipeline qualification, attribution, to ensure proper distribution, and resolves attribution escalations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Supports AI‑human collaboration in the sales process, and manages and optimizes AI sales intelligence tools and automated customer/partner interaction systems.
  • Maintains sales tools data quality to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.
  • Implements sales workflows and automation to streamline process and improve seller efficiency.
  • Conducts sales performance analysis on win/loss data, conversion rates, goal attainment, and/or forecast accuracy to identify potential risks.
  • Prepares and drives regular business reviews with insights on pipeline health, performance trends, and operational efficiency.
  • Contributes to sales tools training and adoption initiatives to improve utilization and productivity.
  • Contributes to cross‑functional projects to improve sales efficiency and processes.
  • Drives escalations, gap‑to‑green, and/or other issues to resolution.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data.
  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of sales operations or equivalent experience.
  • Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translating the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within a high‑growth, technology company.
  • Experience in finance, business management and sales operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience using data and analytics to drive sales strategy and results.
