Overview
I have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Health Nurse to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary team at a client’s site in Samlesbury, Lancashire.
Responsibilities
- Conduct health surveillance
- Travel health assessments and vaccinations
- Case management
- Deliver health and wellbeing initiatives
- Work with external organisations and other healthcare professionals
- Provide health surveillance and manage escalations via the Occupational Health Technicians
- Provide professional advice, support and guidance
- Assess new employees presenting to Occupational Health
- Assess individuals’ fitness to work for the appropriate job role
- Provide clinical assessment of clients presenting with minor illness and injury
- Attend emergency call outs
Qualifications & Attributes
- Experience as a practice nurse or in a similar occupational health focused role
- Strong understanding of case management and health surveillance
- Team player who welcomes challenges and is committed to achieving results
- Curios to understand, learn, and develop both self and others
Hours
This is a full time role, working 5 days per week, Monday to Friday. We can offer some flexibility with working hours, between 7.30am to 5.30pm, working 7.5 hours per day.
Compensation
We are offering a competitive salary for this role, dependent on experience and qualifications.
Professional registration (NMC) fees also paid annually.
