About this Role

We are looking for a Duty Manager to join the team at The Sports Centre. The successful applicant will assist with the day‑to‑day running of the busy commercial operation and supervise a team of leisure assistants and casual lifeguards to ensure smooth running of the Sports Centre and other College facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day operations of the Sports Centre.
• Supervise a team of leisure assistants and casual lifeguards.
• Ensure smooth running of the Sports Centre and other College facilities.
• Work on a rota basis, including evenings and some weekends.

Qualifications

• Team player with enthusiasm, motivation, and commitment to customer care.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Flexible approach to working hours.
• Current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or willingness to attend the next course.
• Commitment to keep NPLQ training up to date.
