Our client is seeking a confident and commercially aware Executive to support the delivery of key business objectives across a fast-paced UK organisation. This role is suited to a highly capable professional who can contribute to strategic initiatives, manage stakeholder relationships, and help drive operational and commercial performance. The successful candidate will be comfortable working across multiple priorities and supporting senior leadership in achieving wider business goals within a transport and logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of business strategy and key organisational objectives.
- Work closely with senior leaders to coordinate priorities, initiatives, and operational activity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare reports, presentations, business updates, and briefing materials.
- Monitor performance against key targets and support action planning where required.
- Contribute to commercial, operational, and strategic projects across the business.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.
- Support decision-making through research, analysis, and clear communication of findings.
- Represent the business professionally in meetings, discussions, and stakeholder interactions.
- Ensure a high standard of professionalism, confidentiality, and accountability in all areas of work.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a business, operations, commercial, or leadership role.
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication ability.
- Commercial awareness and strong business acumen.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Confident working with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Professional, proactive, and adaptable approach.
- Degree‑level education or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
