We are seeking an experienced General Sales Manager to join Marshall Scunthorpe to drive success by leading our sales team in delivering outstanding customer experiences and achieving ambitious sales targets.
In this role:
- Lead and drive performance of the Sales team, overseeing both new and used vehicle sales.
- Achieve weekly sales targets for vehicles, finance, and insurance products, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and driving business growth in alignment with the store’s goals.
- Lead by example – working closely with customers, managing escalations, and supporting team development through coaching, performance management, and recognition.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager within the automotive industry, preferably in a main dealership environment.
- Leadership mindset with strong relationship-building skills, able to inspire and motivate a team to consistently meet and exceed targets.
- Results‑oriented, with a track record of maximising profitability through effective stock management and sales strategies.
