Part Time CFO / Finance Director – Real Estate Funds

JSS Search is partnering with a highly regarded real estate investment platform to appoint a Part-Time Fund Finance Director / CFO in London.

This is a senior, hands-on finance leadership role within an entrepreneurial and growing investment environment, offering broad exposure across fund finance, corporate reporting, treasury and operational oversight.

Working closely with the leadership team, the successful candidate will take ownership of the finance function across both the investment and management company structures, while helping support the continued growth and evolution of the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversight of fund and corporate financial reporting across multiple entities and SPVs
• Preparation and review of IFRS statutory accounts
• Management of external audits and adviser relationships
• Ownership of management reporting, budgeting and forecasting
• Treasury, liquidity and cashflow management
• Oversight of VAT reporting and broader UK tax considerations
• Supporting governance, financial controls and operational finance processes
• Working closely with senior stakeholders to provide commercial and financial insight
• Supporting fund structures, investor reporting and strategic finance projects where required

Candidate Profile:

• A proven track record within real estate fund finance or property investment environments
• Strong IFRS and statutory reporting experience
• Exposure to listed markets and complex multi-entity structures
• Experience within private funds or alternative investments would be advantageous
• Strong understanding of treasury, liquidity management and VAT reporting
• Broad awareness of UK tax structures relevant to investment businesses
• The ability to work autonomously within a lean environment
• Strong communication skills and a commercially minded approach
