Manager – Day Nursery

Overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic Nursery Manager to help oversee the smooth running of our thriving nursery. The successful candidate should have strong leadership abilities and a solid knowledge of early years education. In this role, you will work closely with the team across all areas of nursery operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily nursery operations, ensuring a safe, caring, and engaging environment for children.
• Lead, supervise, and support staff, offering guidance, training, and motivation.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child’s development and addressing any concerns.
• Ensure all health, safety, and safeguarding standards are met and maintained.
• Keep accurate records of attendance, activities, and developmental progress.

Experience & Skills

• Proven experience in leading and managing a team.
• In-depth understanding of early years education and best practices.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
