We are now looking for an experienced Catering Events Manager to join our team and lead the operational delivery of exceptional events across London.
The role:
This is a senior, client-facing operational role responsible for overseeing the seamless delivery of high-end events from planning through to execution. Working closely with the Sales and Events teams, you will ensure every event is delivered to the exceptional standards Rocket Food is known for.
You’ll take ownership of event operations across multiple venues, managing teams, suppliers, logistics, and client expectations while maintaining a calm, solutions-focused approach in fast-paced environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the operational planning and delivery of a wide range of luxury eventsManage both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations to the highest standardsProduce and communicate detailed event plans across departmentsBrief, lead, and motivate teams of varying sizes on-siteOversee service flow for high-volume dinners and events, including 500+ guest functionsAttend client meetings, tastings, and venue site visits alongside the Sales teamCoordinate equipment orders and supplier logisticsEnsure Health & Safety compliance, including RAMS documentationBuild and maintain strong relationships with venues, clients, and suppliersSupport recruitment, training, and development within the operations teamContribute to operational improvements and efficiencies across the business
