The Junior People Partner will support the Investment Global People Partners in delivering high-quality, on-the-ground People support for the London office. This role is designed for an early-career HR professional who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to build strong business partnership skills. The position will play an important executional and coordination role across the employee lifecycle, helping ensure that People processes are run efficiently, documentation is maintained accurately, and employees and managers receive timely, professional support. The role will work closely with senior People Partners as well as cross-functional teams including immigration, mobility, and other People functions to help deliver a consistent employee experience and support key People priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Global People Partners in the execution of core employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, performance management processes, employee relations administration, and offboarding.
  • Manage documentation, scheduling, and follow-up actions related to People Partner activity, ensuring processes are well organized, deadlines are met, and records are maintained accurately and confidentially.
  • Assist with performance management processes, including coordination of timelines, meeting scheduling, documentation tracking, and follow-up with managers and stakeholders.
  • Support employee termination processes by preparing documentation, coordinating logistics, and partnering with relevant teams to ensure a smooth and compliant process.
  • Conduct exit interviews for departing employees, identify key themes and trends, and summarize findings for review by Global People Partners and broader People leadership.
  • Oversee relocation-related documentation in partnership with the immigration and mobility team, helping ensure timely submissions, clear communication, and a positive employee experience.
  • Fulfill People-related data pull requests and basic reporting needs, partnering with internal stakeholders to provide accurate information and support decision-making.
  • Support audits, process reviews, and People projects by tracking deliverables, maintaining documentation, and helping drive effective coordination across teams.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, preferably in a dynamic fast paced financial company
  • Solid understanding of HR best practices in a global, matrix environment and across HR generalist and CoE roles
  • Good understanding of employment law, and regulatory requirements in the UK
  • Exceptional ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities and deliver results in a dynamic environment
  • Strong desire to learn and high attention to detail
  • Advanced in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Great sense of empathy, pragmatism, and a proactive mindset
