Shift rota

5 on, 5 off x 6 cycles, then a 15-day break. Days 06:00 – 18:00 and Nights 18:00 – 06:00.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Shift Superintendent to lead operations across a COMAH site, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable performance of plant and wellsite operations.

This is a hands‑on leadership role overseeing control room activities, plant operations, and shift teams across a live production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading shift teams and supervising plant operations
• Operating and monitoring plant via SCADA / DCS systems
• Ensuring daily production targets and nominations are met
• Acting as Incident Controller for site emergencies
• Driving safe working practices (Permit to Work, HSE)
• Managing shift handovers and reporting performance
• Identifying plant issues and supporting maintenance

Requirements

• Experience in oil and gas / COMAH operations
• Strong background in plant operations
• Experience using SCADA / DCS systems
• Confident leading teams in live operational environments
• Strong safety mindset (NEBOSH / Process Ops preferred)
