Senior Operations Manager | DTC Food Subscription Brand | London / Hybrid

A category-defining consumer food business is looking for a Senior Operations Manager to join the team as they enter a major stage of growth. Built around a loyal subscriber base and a strong digital presence, the company has developed a reputation for delivering an outstanding customer experience alongside high-quality products that customers genuinely build into their routines.

The business has grown rapidly through its DTC model, supported by strong retention, expanding partnerships, and increasing demand across the UK. With ambitious plans for operational scale, new market launches, and continued product innovation, they are now investing heavily in the infrastructure behind the brand.

This role will take ownership of the operational engine of the business, ensuring products move seamlessly from production through to the customer doorstep. From improving fulfilment performance and inventory planning to strengthening supplier relationships and refining internal processes, the Senior Operations Manager will be central to supporting the next phase of expansion.

Working closely with the founders and senior leadership team, this person will help shape how the business scales operationally over the coming years. It’s an opportunity for someone who enjoys building processes in fast-moving environments and wants to play a highly visible role within an ambitious consumer brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Improve forecasting and inventory management to maximise availability and minimise waste
  • Drive efficiencies across the supply chain to improve margins and operational performance
  • Partner with finance and commercial teams on planning, forecasting, and growth initiatives
  • Monitor and improve KPIs across fulfilment, customer satisfaction, delivery performance, and operational costs
  • Support new product launches and expansion into new channels and markets
  • Identify operational risks and implement scalable solutions proactively
  • Ensure operational compliance and best practices are maintained across the business

What they’re looking for (essential)

  • Experience in operations, supply chain, or logistics within a food, FMCG, DTC, or consumer brand
  • Experience managing and improving operational performance within a scaling business
  • Strong understanding of fulfilment, inventory planning, and supply chain management
  • Commercially aware with strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Advanced Excel capability and confidence working with operational data
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Nice to have (non-essential)

  • Experience within a subscription or recurring revenue business
  • Exposure to international logistics or market expansion
  • Experience working in founder-led businesses
  • Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems
  • Experience with Shopify, Xero, or similar operational platforms
  • Interest in food, consumer products, or high-growth challenger brands

Salary: £55,000 to £65,000
