Job Description
Excellent communication skills—especially written—are a must as you’ll be working with a diverse range of people at all levels. This role requires availability during typical office hours to respond promptly to last‑minute requests. Attendance in the Leeds office is required: an average of two days a week at Quarry House from late 2026 after relocation from Lateral. Flexible working is supported.
Responsibilities
- Managing correspondence and gathering information to provide accurate and timely responses
- Managing and responding to complaints
- Analyzing data and running reports
- Providing ministerial briefings
- Leading on high‑profile and complex work within the team
- Working with others to manage reputational risks
Qualifications
- Ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external customers
- Delivery of work through planning, tracking, gathering and maintaining data/information
- Flexible approach and ability to adapt to changing priorities while managing workload
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team, ensuring deadlines are met
- Political awareness
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- Confidence in using MS Office and MS Teams

Employment Details
Two posts available: one full-time (37 hours) and one part-time (approximately 22 hours). Both are permanent.
