Location: Northern England with occasional travel to South Yorkshire and Midlands

Contract Type: 40-hours per week plus overtime

Salary: Competitive rate of pay

Key Responsibilities

Carry out minor installation work, including replacing fixtures, installing small sections of pipework, and supporting minor works in relation to plant room upgrades.
Perform routine maintenance on commercial plumbing systems, including pipework, fixtures, and drainage systems.
Work will involve travel between multiple sites.
Diagnose and repair faults such as leaks, blockages, and pressure issues.
Conduct inspections and ensure systems comply with health and safety regulations.
Respond to requests in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Liaise with clients, site managers, and other trades where required.
Follow safety procedures and always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Occasional out-of-hours or emergency call-outs may be required.

Requirements

Proven experience as a commercial plumber or similar role.
Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and maintenance practices.
Ability to perform minor installation work independently.
Good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Full UK driving licence (Essential).
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Experience working in commercial environments such as industrial sites.
Basic knowledge of heating systems or HVAC (advantageous).
Health & Safety certifications (e.g., CSCS card).
Ability to obtain SC Clearance.
NVQ level 2 in plumbing and mechanical services, or C&G/HNC (building services) or equivalent.
G3 in vented and unvented systems.
IPAF & PASMA.
IT literate and able to complete task sheets.
Clear communicator both oral and written.
