The Role

As a Product Owner, you will go beyond traditional backlog management, translating real client needs into scalable, high‑impact digital solutions, defining product direction, making critical trade‑offs, and driving delivery at pace within an Agile framework. This is a hands‑on, high‑visibility role offering the opportunity to influence strategy, shape product vision, and deliver a truly market‑leading digital experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritise product features to maximise client value while ensuring technical and operational feasibility.
  • Own and manage the product backlog, maintaining alignment with stakeholder objectives and delivery goals.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Balance rapid iteration with long‑term scalability across data, infrastructure, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define, refine, and validate business, client, and technical requirements.
  • Support the design and development of modular, scalable digital products.
  • Contribute to defining the data and personalisation strategy, including data capture, analytics, and value optimisation.
  • Coordinate user validation sessions to ensure product‑market fit and user satisfaction.
  • Manage releases, dependencies, and technical debt across teams and third‑party vendors.
  • Work closely with technical teams on integration, architecture, and platform constraints.
  • Operate effectively in ambiguous environments, using initiative and problem‑solving to define new approaches.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Senior Product Manager within Agile environments.
  • Strong experience delivering digital products, ideally within financial services or complex platform environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross‑functional teams and dependencies across multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working with or alongside data, martech, personalisation, or digital analytics tools is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving mindset with a data‑driven approach to decision‑making.
  • Comfortable working in fast‑paced, ambiguous, and entrepreneurial environments.
  • A proactive, “can‑do” attitude with the ability to drive outcomes independently.
