Scope and Purpose As Head Concierge at Hotel Café Royal, you will lead and inspire the Concierge team to deliver exceptional, intuitive, and personalised guest experiences that reflect the highest standards of luxury hospitality. Acting as a senior ambassador for the hotel, you will build meaningful relationships with guests, anticipating their needs and curating bespoke experiences that showcase the very best of London. With extensive knowledge of the luxury lifestyle landscape and a strong network of industry connections, including prestigious concierge organisations such as Les Clefs dOr, you will ensure guests receive access to exclusive venues, experiences, and services. You will lead the Concierge department in maintaining Forbes Five-Star while driving a culture of excellence, professionalism, and service innovation.Working closely with Front Office and operational departments, you will oversee the smooth daily operation of the Concierge team while mentoring and developing colleagues to consistently exceed guest expectations.

Your RoleAs Head Concierge, you will oversee the daily operation of the Concierge department, ensuring every guest interaction is delivered with elegance, efficiency, and genuine care. You will lead by example, creating memorable and bespoke experiences while managing VIP arrivals, guest recognition, reservations, transportation, ticketing, and personalised itineraries.You will inspire, mentor, and develop the Concierge team through coaching, training, and performance management, fostering a culture of passion, accountability, and continuous improvement. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with luxury service providers, restaurants, theatres, chauffeurs, and entertainment partners to enhance the guest experience and strengthen Hotel Café Royals reputation within the luxury hospitality market.Working collaboratively with all hotel departments, you will ensure seamless communication and operational excellence while continuously reviewing service standards, guest feedback, and departmental procedures to drive innovation and exceed expectations.The ideal candidate will be an inspiring leader, highly connected within the luxury concierge community, and passionate about creating extraordinary guest experiences with confidence, discretion, and professionalism.

Your Profile Proven experience in a luxury hotel Concierge leadership role Exceptional knowledge of Londons luxury lifestyle, dining, entertainment, retail, and cultural scene Strong industry relationships and involvement within the luxury concierge community, ideally including Les Clefs dOr Passionate about delivering highly personalised and anticipatory guest experiences Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills Highly organised with strong operational and commercial awareness Ability to remain calm, discreet, and professional in a fast-paced luxury environment Experience managing guest relations, VIP services, and complex guest requests Committed to maintaining Forbes Five-Star and LQA service standards
