Account Executive – Energy Consultancy / Energy Procurement
Up to £43K base + OTE (double OTE – uncapped commission)
A growing energy consultancy is hiring an Energy Account Executive to join its direct sales team.
This is a new business role focused on winning mid-market and enterprise customers. You will manage the full sales cycle from first contact through to signed contracts. There is no account management or renewals.
The role operates in a structured sales environment with defined target markets, leadership support, and CRM systems in place.
What you will be doing:
- Generate new business through outbound activity, inbound leads, referrals, and events
- Manage the full sales cycle (typical deal length 1–3 months, 2-year contracts)
- Sell consultatively based on customer requirements
- Engage decision makers across finance, operations, and sustainability
- Attend events and networking to build pipeline
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce
Requirements:
- B2B new business sales experience
- Experience selling to mid-market or enterprise customers
- Comfortable with outbound sales and high activity levels
- Able to manage multiple deals at once
- Organised and commercially focused
Desirable:
- Experience with structured sales methods (MEDDICC or similar)
- Energy, utilities, or sustainability sector experience
- Salesforce experience
