Role
As part of the Banking & Capital Markets Prudential Regulatory Assurance team, you will support clients across core prudential disciplines: capital, liquidity, regulatory reporting, Pillar 3 disclosures, stress testing and wider prudential risk management.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of client engagements and coordinate with internal and client senior stakeholders.
- Deliver practical and technical advice on prudential regulatory frameworks for banks, FCA MIFIDPRU and other regulated entities.
- Help clients anticipate and assess regulatory change impacts.
- Conduct specialist reviews of core regulatory capital/liquidity/leverage calculations, ICAAP/ILAAP documentation and regulatory compliance gap analysis.
- Support firms during PRA/FCA interactions, including SREP/L-SREP visits and applications for authorisations or variation permissions.
- Benchmark prudential frameworks against peer industry practice.
- Mentor junior team members and promote an inclusive team culture.
Qualifications & Experience
Required technical knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Regulatory Capital Rules (PRA Rulebook/CRR), capital management, forecasting or ICAAP.
- Liquidity management, forecasting, ILAAP, NSFR or LCR.
- Regulatory Reporting.
- Stress testing.
- Controls assessment and testing, potentially from audit experience.
- Risk Appetite and Risk Management Frameworks.
- Investment Firm Prudential Regime.
- Knowledge of latest regulatory developments.
- Ability to deliver high‑quality service and manage multiple clients concurrently.
- Strong client‑relationship skills.
