Overview

Our Assurance practice spans regulation and finance with advanced analytics. We provide assurance to those charged with governance, helping businesses build trust and resilience.

Role

As part of the Banking & Capital Markets Prudential Regulatory Assurance team, you will support clients across core prudential disciplines: capital, liquidity, regulatory reporting, Pillar 3 disclosures, stress testing and wider prudential risk management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of client engagements and coordinate with internal and client senior stakeholders.
  • Deliver practical and technical advice on prudential regulatory frameworks for banks, FCA MIFIDPRU and other regulated entities.
  • Help clients anticipate and assess regulatory change impacts.
  • Conduct specialist reviews of core regulatory capital/liquidity/leverage calculations, ICAAP/ILAAP documentation and regulatory compliance gap analysis.
  • Support firms during PRA/FCA interactions, including SREP/L-SREP visits and applications for authorisations or variation permissions.
  • Benchmark prudential frameworks against peer industry practice.
  • Mentor junior team members and promote an inclusive team culture.

Qualifications & Experience

Required technical knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Regulatory Capital Rules (PRA Rulebook/CRR), capital management, forecasting or ICAAP.
  • Liquidity management, forecasting, ILAAP, NSFR or LCR.
  • Regulatory Reporting.
  • Stress testing.
  • Controls assessment and testing, potentially from audit experience.
  • Risk Appetite and Risk Management Frameworks.
  • Investment Firm Prudential Regime.
  • Knowledge of latest regulatory developments.
  • Ability to deliver high‑quality service and manage multiple clients concurrently.
  • Strong client‑relationship skills.
