After School Club Supervisor

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic After School Club Supervisor to run our after school club provision at Broadwindsor Primary School.

Start date: 1st September 2026

Working hours: 3:15pm – 5:30pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Total hours per week: 6.75.

Fixed-term appointment.

Actual salary: £3,990 – £4,185 (Pro‑Rated, Grade 6, SCP 6–9).

Pay award pending.

This job is term time only, for 38 weeks per year.

The successful applicant will need to be able to fully commit to the role.

The Main Responsibilities and Duties Are

• To prepare activities and organise resources for each session.
• To lead the team in offering high quality after school care provision and attend meetings as appropriate.
• To be involved in the development of other staff, including training, assessment, monitoring, and supervision.
• Keep records as appropriate.
• Be responsible for the care, presentation, safety, organisation, and appearance of the facilities and equipment.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of children or young people in accordance with the school’s safeguarding and child protection policy.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting wrap‑around care (breakfast or after school clubs).
• Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
