Real Estate Solicitor (Associate, 3+ PQE) | Top 20 Law Firm | Predominantly Remote | Major Client Focus
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Associate to join a highly regarded national real estate team within a Top 20 law firm, working within an innovative client delivery model on a dedicated, high-profile mandate.
This role offers something genuinely different from a traditional fee-earning position, which is the chance to work closely with a single major client, developing deep sector insight while benefiting from the infrastructure, support and opportunities of being part of a very highly ranked and leading UK law firm.
The Opportunity
You will join a structured and forward-thinking delivery team, acting as a key point of contact for a major institutional client. The role is designed to offer greater predictability, flexibility and work-life balance than a typical transactional role, without compromising on quality of work or client exposure.
Please note that this position is predominantly home-based, with travel to the firm’s office in Leeds required at least twice per month, alongside occasional client meetings and initial onboarding/training.
The Team
You will be part of a large, top-tier ranked Real Estate group with a strong reputation for transactional excellence and commerciality. The team is known for its collaborative culture, use of legal technology and innovative approach to delivering legal services.
The Role
You will take ownership of a varied commercial property caseload, with responsibilities including:
- Drafting and negotiating commercial leases (new, renewals and reversionary leases)
- Handling a range of asset management work, including licences to assign, alter and underlet
- Managing tenant enquiries and due diligence processes
- Supporting on completions and post-completion matters
- Supervising junior team members and contributing to process improvements
- Building strong working relationships with the client and their wider professional team
Alongside day-to-day transactional work, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of client processes, knowledge sharing and the use of legal technology.
About You
- 3+ PQE in Commercial Property (England & Wales qualified)
- Experience advising on landlord and tenant matters, ideally for institutional clients
- Comfortable managing a high-volume caseload within a structured, process-driven environment
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused mindset
- Commercially aware, proactive and solutions-oriented
Why Apply?
- Unique client-dedicated role offering deeper engagement and sector expertise
- Greater certainty and flexibility in working patterns
- High-quality work within a supportive, well-resourced national team
- Strong emphasis on innovation, collaboration and career development
This is an excellent opportunity for a Real Estate Associate seeking high-quality work with a more balanced and modern way of working, without stepping away from a leading law firm environment.
