Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of domestic and commercial subsidence claims from notification to conclusion, diagnosing, mitigating and repairing structural defects and subsidence issues, coordinating with team members and service providers, and communicating with clients.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Working towards or holding a chartered building professional qualification (e.g., MCIOB, MRICS, MICE) and ideally an insurance qualification (e.g., CILA, CII)
- Expertise in identifying and diagnosing structural defects and subsidence in buildings, prevention methods and repair techniques
- Experience in insurance claims handling (preferred, but training provided)
- Strong customer service skills, ability to make decisions, and communicate with empathy
