How You Will Create An Impact

In this role, you will shape and deliver the talent acquisition strategy across the UK businesses—ensuring we attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent in highly competitive and specialist markets.

This is a highly visible role partnering with senior business and HR leaders to drive hiring outcomes that enable growth, transformation, and long‑term capability building.

  • Lead strategic talent acquisition across the UK, aligning recruiting priorities with business strategy, growth plans, and workforce needs.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, translating complex talent challenges into actionable recruiting solutions across specialist and niche hiring profiles.
  • Own and evolve market‑specific TA strategies, balancing global frameworks with local UK labor market dynamics, regulatory considerations, and competitive intelligence.
  • Build and inspire a high‑performing TA team, setting clear expectations, coaching leaders, and driving accountability for delivery, quality, and experience.
  • Partner closely with Global TA leadership, contributing to enterprise TA strategy, sharing best practices, and supporting ongoing TA transformation initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement across recruiting processes, candidate experience, and hiring manager engagement, leveraging data, insights, and market trends.
  • Ensure strong governance and compliance, including adherence to hiring policies, employment regulations, and internal controls across all hiring activity.
  • Use data to inform decisions, providing transparent reporting on hiring performance, market challenges, and progress against SLAs and business outcomes.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • Extensive leadership experience in Talent Acquisition, ideally within complex, matrixed, or global organizations.
  • Deep understanding of the UK talent market, including hiring for specialist, professional, and niche roles.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior business leaders, influencing outcomes and navigating competing priorities.
  • Experience leading and developing TA leaders and teams, with a strong track record of building capability and driving performance.
  • Demonstrated success operating within global TA models, balancing enterprise standards with local execution.
  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset, using data, insights, and market intelligence to shape hiring strategies.
  • Comfort leading through change, including TA transformation, process evolution, and operating model shifts.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage at executive level.
