What you will do
- Manage and oversee allegations against professionals, volunteers, and foster carers working with children, ensuring fair and thorough resolutions.
- Provide advice and guidance to employers and organisations on safeguarding allegations and thresholds.
- Convene and chair LADO strategy meetings to coordinate effective multi‑agency responses.
- Ensure timely and proportionate investigations by liaising with police, social care, and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications / Person Specification
- Degree in Social Work (BA/MA or equivalent) or a relevant professional qualification.
- Evidence of continued professional development.
- Registered with Social Work England or the relevant professional body.
- Strong knowledge of Working Together to Safeguard Children, Children Act 1989 and 2004, and Managing Allegations Against Adults procedures.
- Enhanced DBS clearance is required.
