Senior Field Examiner – Asset Based Lending
A subsidiary of a Global Banking Group and leading provider of Asset Based Lending facilities in the UK seeks a Senior Field Examiner to join their dedicated Transaction Support team.
You will be responsible for conducting new business surveys and performing complex due diligence on new and existing clients to assess their financial security and identify potential areas of risk.
All clients have borrowing facilities with the Bank, including Invoice Discounting, Syndicated, and Asset Based Lending. Facility sizes will generally be in excess of £25 Million.
You will work closely with the Relationship Management team and other areas of Portfolio Risk to minimise bad debt provisions through detailed credit stewardship and early risk identification within the Corporate space.
Audits are conducted at clients’ premises and involve analysis of complex management accounts. This role requires significant travel, and a full driving license is essential.
Previous experience in large-ticket Audit/Survey roles is advantageous, as is knowledge of Business Lending, Corporate Banking, and Business Finance. Experience with ABL and syndicated facilities is preferred. A high level of accounting expertise and financial analysis skills are essential; ACA/ACCA, CIMA, or part-qualified accountants are desirable.
