About The Role
As part of our continued growth in 2026, we are seeking to engage with experienced Facilities Management (FM) consultants who are passionate about delivering high‑quality advisory services. We welcome applications from professionals interested in joining Macro Group’s established and expanding consulting team.
We are recruiting an ambitious and commercially astute FM Consultant with a Manager grade to join our London‑based consultancy team. This role offers the opportunity to lead and deliver complex FM consultancy commissions, support client decision‑making across the asset lifecycle, and contribute to the ongoing development of our FM advisory capability.
You will work closely with clients, senior stakeholders, and internal teams to shape effective facilities strategies, optimise operational performance, and support best‑in‑class workplace outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and delivering FM consultancy engagements, providing strategic and operational advice aligned to client objectives
- Driving innovation and continuous improvement across facilities management service delivery, asset management, and workplace solutions.
- Advising clients on the creation of productive, compliant, and cost‑effective workplace environments that support collaboration, performance, and wellbeing.
- Applying technical and engineering expertise to support design reviews, asset strategies, lifecycle planning, and technical due diligence activities.
- Undertaking operational cost modelling, services optimisation reviews, operational feasibility assessments, and OPEX budgeting.
- Conducting structured inspections, audits, and performance assessments to confirm compliance with statutory, regulatory, and safety requirements.
- Drafting high‑quality reports, business cases, and recommendations suitable for senior client stakeholders.
- Managing client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser, and supporting business development activity where appropriate.
About You
As an FM professional you will have a strong consultancy mindset and the credibility to operate at Manager level. You will demonstrate:
- A degree (or equivalent) in engineering, building services, architecture, or a related discipline.
- Chartered status (e.g. CIBSE, RICS, IWFM or equivalent), or demonstrable progress towards chartership.
- Proven experience delivering FM consultancy services, including technical, operational, or workplace advisory projects.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, with the ability to translate data and insight into practical recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing professional client‑facing reports.
- Confidence in managing stakeholders and building long‑term client relationships.
- A proactive, results‑driven approach with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Digital capability and confidence in applying technology, data, and innovation to improve FM outcomes.
