An exceptional opportunity for an experienced and inspiring Head Chef to join one of London’s most creative and culturally relevant lifestyle hotels.
This is a senior leadership role overseeing the main production kitchen and delivering food across multiple outlets.
You will report directly to the Executive Chef and lead a talented brigade in a fast-paced environment known for quality, innovation and standout guest experiences.
The Role
As Head Chef, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day culinary operation of the main kitchen.
You will lead service across multiple outlets and special activations, including guest chef collaborations and pop-up events.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a large brigade of chefs
- Overseeing food production across restaurants, bars, rooftop dining, room service and events
- Managing stock, ordering and supplier relationships
- Controlling food costs and maintaining budgets
- Working with the Executive Chef on menu development and seasonal innovation
- Ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation
- Maintaining rigorous HACCP, food safety and health and safety standards
- Delivering training and supporting career development within the team
What We Are Looking For
- Current Head Chef experience
- Experience in a luxury lifestyle hotel or high-quality restaurant group with multiple sites/outlets.
- Proven ability to manage and inspire large kitchen teams
- Strong understanding of the London restaurant scene and emerging trends
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Calm and decisive under pressure
- Commercially aware with strong food cost control
- Passionate about delivering exceptional food and guest experiences
The Package
- £57,000 to £65,000 including Tronc
- 45 hours per week
- Five days per week
- 28 days holiday, increasing with length of service
