Job Overview

Join us as a Customer Team Leader and take the next step toward managing your own store. As a leader, you’ll guide a small team in a fast‑paced Co‑op store, supporting operations in the post office, bakery, online services, or home delivery as required.

Location and Pay

Location: 26-28 Frederick Street, Edinburgh, EH2 2JR

Pay: £14.48 per hour

Contract and Working Pattern

Contract: Permanent, full time, 39 hours per week + regular overtime.

Working pattern: A mix of opening, closing, and mid‑day shifts with flexibility across the week, including at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift (Friday after 6 pm, any shift on Saturday, or Sunday).

What you’ll do

  • Own the day‑to‑day running of the store by leading the team on your shift.
  • Motivate, coach, and support your team to deliver great service and efficient operations.
  • Work hands‑on on the shop floor and tills, supporting daily operations and setting the pace for a team of Customer Team Members.
  • Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes.
  • Champion Co‑op through community engagement and membership growth.
