Responsibilities
- Lead by example in system design, code quality and agile development to engineer scalable and performant solutions across the full software lifecycle.
- Leverage AI to its full capability to accelerate innovation and solution delivery and promote a culture of AI‑led development.
- Collaborate in small cross‑functional agile teams comprising skilled product managers, traders, sales teams, and fellow technologists who put the client at the heart of everything they do.
- Drive continuous improvement within the team – we value relentless curiosity and a growth mindset.
- Work with Product Managers to devise and deliver new innovative FX products.
- Provide mentorship and guidance across the team, fostering professional growth and technical development.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or a similar field.
- Experience in building mission‑critical systems, ideally in financial institutions.
- Ability to work well within a fast‑paced environment.
- A results‑driven personality.
- A passion for changing the status quo, driving out‑of‑the‑box thinking, and the ability to adapt and lead through change.
- Prior experience of front‑office trading systems.
- Low‑latency trading experience.
- Co‑location infrastructure knowledge.
- Experience working with high‑performance messaging systems.
- Hands‑on development with FIX APIs.
