Inclusion Support Officer
Salary – £30,024 – £33,699 (Grade 5)
Hours – 37 hours
Contract type – Full time, term‑time only – secondment until 31 March 2027
As an Inclusion Officer, you will work collaboratively with schools, families, and partner agencies to promote positive outcomes for pupils at risk of exclusion. You will play a key role in delivering targeted interventions and developing bespoke support packages to ensure pupils remain engaged in education.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in partnership with schools and multi‑agency professionals to reduce permanent exclusions.
- Deliver effective 1:1 and small group interventions to improve pupil behaviour, engagement, and emotional regulation.
- Support the development of bespoke intervention packages tailored to the needs of pupils at risk of exclusion.
- Monitor, review, and evaluate the impact of interventions, ensuring progress and positive outcomes.
- Promote inclusive practice by sharing best practice and providing appropriate support and challenge to schools.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and professionals to support sustained inclusion.
