Infrastructure Engineer

London or Winchester (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)

Up to £64,000 + benefits

We’re looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join a forward-thinking team working across cloud and on-prem environments. With the majority of infrastructure hosted in Microsoft Azure, this role offers hands‑on exposure to modern technologies, automation, and emerging AI-driven solutions.

What you’ll do:

• Support and enhance infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments
• Design and implement scalable, standardised cloud solutions
• Automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency
• Manage core infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS)
• Maintain security, patching, and disaster recovery practices
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolutions
• Collaborate across teams and act as an escalation point for complex issues
• Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rota

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in a DevOps environment
• Strong Azure knowledge (AWS or GCP also beneficial)
• Understanding of networking, M365, and storage technologies (SAN/NAS)
• Familiarity with monitoring and automation tools
• Experience with Powershell
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience with Ansible/Terraform/Palo Alto beneficial
