Mobile HGV Technician

Are you a fully qualified HGV Fitter, HGV Mechanic, or HGV Technician living in the North West area looking for a Mobile Service mobile role? Monday to Friday role. Day shifts. Salary – Up to £49,000, depending on experience.

Role Overview

The role of the Mobile HGV Technician: You will be travelling within a designated area and have use of a fully equipped van. You will be working on a variety of vehicles, from tractor and trailer units, to RCVs, sweepers and gritters.

Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance
• Emergency Breakdowns
• Pre-arranged servicing at rural sites
• Engine work and diagnostic investigations
• Hydraulics and pneumatics
• Electrical and wiring inspections and corrections

Requirements

Ideally you will be fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent. Additional accreditations such as IRTEC or an EV qualification would be desirable, as would an HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence but not essential.
