The school seeks a Head of Geography to lead and develop the dynamic Geography department across Key Stages 3 and 5, inspire a love of learning, raise attainment, support staff, and contribute to whole school improvement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a dynamic Geography department.
• Deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 5.
• Inspire a love of learning and curiosity about the world.
• Monitor progress and raise attainment across all ability levels.
• Support and mentor staff within the department.
• Contribute to whole-school improvement strategies.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience teaching Geography at secondary level.
• Strong leadership skills or readiness to step into a leadership role.
• A track record of improving student outcomes.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A passion for Geography and innovative teaching.
