About the Role
As an Investment Case Lead, you will take ownership of the development, coordination, and quality assurance of investment cases presented for approval. This is a hands-on, structured role where you will ensure investment submissions are clear, consistent, and decision-ready, working closely with stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of investment case documents from concept through to submission
- Coordinate inputs from Finance, Operations, Education, Estates, Legal, and Risk teams
- Ensure all materials meet agreed templates, standards, and governance requirements
- Prepare papers for investment and funding committees
- Manage feedback cycles and refine submissions accordingly
- Track pipeline progress, deadlines, and dependencies across multiple cases
- Maintain documentation records for transparency and auditability
- Support continuous improvement of templates, processes, and frameworks
You will have
- Experience developing or coordinating business cases, investment cases, or similar submissions
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience working with financial data and collaborating with finance teams
- Excellent written communication skills for senior-level documentation
- Ability to work within structured governance frameworks
- Strong stakeholder coordination and relationship management skills
- Experience with investment committees or governance forums
- Background in education, healthcare, or regulated sectors
- Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Strategy, or related field
- Postgraduate or professional qualifications
