Technical Solution Architect (United Kingdom)

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technical solutions for banking applications and platforms
• Collaborate with business, product, and technology teams to define architecture requirements
• Provide architectural guidance across system integration, cloud, and application development initiatives
• Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, and regulatory requirements
• Support digital transformation and modernization programs
• Review technical designs, solution documents, and implementation plans
• Drive best practices across architecture governance and delivery
• Work closely with development and infrastructure teams during implementation

Qualifications / Essential Skills & Attributes

• Strong experience as a Technical Solution Architect within banking or financial services
• Knowledge of banking systems, payments, lending, risk, or core banking platforms
• Experience with cloud technologies and enterprise architecture frameworks
• Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and system integration
• Experience with solution design, application architecture, and infrastructure architecture
• Familiarity with security, compliance, and regulatory standards in banking
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to work across complex enterprise environments
